We acknowledge the financial and in-kind donations of our corporate sponsors and individual supporters who sustain the work of OHTA globally.
The Occupational Hygiene Training Association is pleased to announce that Amazon has become an OHTA Sponsor. As such, Amazon is joining with OHTA to champion the cause of worker health and safety internationally. The Amazon sponsorship will have a particularly significant impact at this time as the funds will help support OHTA’s new series of course modules and companion examinations leading to the international certificate in occupational hygiene, ICertOHTA.
OHTA is a non-profit organization that provides peer-reviewed training modules on core aspects of occupational hygiene and safety. Training materials include student manuals, slide packs, case histories, quizzes, etc. and they are available for free download. OHTA operating funds come largely through donations.
OHTA is pleased to have Amazon as an OHTA Sponsor with a shared vision of healthy workers worldwide. Amazon’s corporate philanthropy will enable OHTA to continue our mission of improving worker health around the world one course at a time.
American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
The AIHA is one of the largest international associations serving OEHS professionals practising industrial hygiene and is a resource for those in large corporations, small businesses, and independent consultants.
Founded in 1939, AIHA is a nonprofit organization devoted to achieving and maintaining the highest professional standards for its members. More than half of our nearly 8,500 members are certified industrial hygienists (CIHs) and many hold other professional designations. AIHA administers comprehensive education programs that keep occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals current in the field of industrial hygiene.
Together with our members, we continue creating knowledge to protect worker health in our pursuit of eliminating workplace illnesses.
Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH)
The AIOH was established in 1980 and is the peak organisation representing professionals working in occupational hygiene in Australia. Membership of AIOH is open to both professional occupational hygienists and to those with an interest in worker health protection and a healthier work environment. It is the largest organisation representing occupational hygienists with over 1000 members.
Our key platform is to improve the practice of occupational hygiene, through knowledge, competence and standing of its practitioners.
The AIOH is an inaugural member and ongoing supporter of the OHTA and has continued to offer professional development through courses, seminars, webinars and conferences for members. Our professional development commitments ensures continuous improvement to protect worker health.
