At the end of each course, students sit for the OHTA examination specific to that course and those passing are awarded a certificate that can include the OHTA Trainers company logo. The examinations are on-line multiple-choice format (MCQ exam). This is like that used by other qualification frameworks such as the CIH, CSP, and QEP. This format also allows students to get their exam results and certificates more quickly.

Our Modules

OHTA201 - our Foundation level. An introduction to the basic principles in occupational hygiene. Suitable as a first course for those starting their career, but also for those who may have occupational hygiene as part of their broader roles. Past attendees have included safety practitioners, occupational doctors, occupational health nurses and line managers, as well as aspiring occupational hygienists.

OHTA500 – our intermediate level. There are 7 modules in the OHTA500 series. These provide students with technical knowledge and practical skills needed to undertake occupational hygiene in the workplace at the technician/technologist level. See the complete list below. Over time, OHTA plans to translate the OHTA500 series courses into a variety of languages, increasing accessibility around the world.
