OHTA is pleased to share exciting news about an OHTA training course that was just completed at Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine.   The course was a (6) module training program with each module designed as a 5-day course.   Professor Bahira Mohamed Said Lotfy invited OHTA Co-Chairperson, Steven Verpaele, with the  Belgian Center for Occupational Hygiene to present the course.   The participants of this practical training course were (30) physicians,  chemists, and environmental specialists working at Egyptian universities or major industrial facilities.  Teaching was done in small groups to ensure an interactive learning experience with workshops and exercises followed by an on-line exam upon completion of each module.  All participants earned the ICertOHTA qualification.
