It is with deep regret that we say farewell to Mrs Sue Davies who passed away earlier this month (Sept 2014). Sue was the well liked and highly respected wife of Mr Brian Davies, an ex-President of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
Sue and Brian were involved in the establishment of what became OHTA at the very earliest stages from 2006. Brian wrote the original 4 modules under commission from BP and served for a number of years on the OHTA Leadership Group. What some of you may not know is that Sue was also a driving force and wise council to those of us trying to establish the international training and qualifications scheme. It was Sue who typed up, formatted and proofread the first modules we produced. Her support and friendship will be sadly missed.
