We are very pleased to announce that Michel Crepeau, B.Sc. CIH, ROH, CHSC, Regional Manager, Total Safety, Burnaby, BC, and Shamini Samuel, CIH, ROH, CSP, Regional Manager of Industrial Hygiene and Compliance, Suncor Energy, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, have agreed to assume co-chairmanship of the OHTA Advisory Committee. Both are notable, experienced professionals who have worked globally in a broad spectrum of industrial, governmental and consulting organizations. The Advisory Committee reports to the OHTA Board and has historically functioned as its “think tank and sounding board”.
OHTA is affirmatively moving forward on several fronts and, with the work/initiatives/MOU’s on its radar screen, sees an opportunity to optimize its resources/strengths by engaging Shamini and Michel in new leadership roles.
We thank previous Chair and continuing OHTA Board member David O’Malley for his recent Chairmanship of the Advisory Committee and for his encouragement in recruiting both Michel and Shamini.
