Course Overview

Effective control of hazardous substances is fundamental to protecting worker health and preventing occupational disease. The OHTA505 Control of Hazardous Substances course provides delegates with a practical understanding of the principles and techniques used to design, implement and evaluate control measures for workplace exposures.

This internationally recognized course focuses on the application of occupational hygiene principles to real-world workplace challenges. Delegates will develop an understanding of how effective control strategies are selected and applied, supporting the reduction of exposure risks and the creation of healthier working environments. The knowledge gained forms an important component of professional occupational hygiene practice and complements exposure assessment and health risk management activities.
