Congratulations to Prof Dr Yucel, Dept of Public Health, Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Türkiye who has been the hard working leader for ETOK – IHIDER, the Turkish national associationwww.etok-ihider.org, and successfully ran seven OHTA courses in 2025.
OHTA is proud to support ETOK – IHDER by translating the OHTA courses and exams into Turkish. The goal has been to train doctors in Türkiye to improve their knowledge in occupational hygiene as the regulations identify the doctors as the key profession for workplace health issues.
The courses have been conducted this year with the goal to complete the internationally recognised certificate, ICertOHTA in 2026. In fact, the courses have been so popular and the OHTA506 Ergonomics course attracted 84 students.
